Marketing Communications (MarCom) are coordinated promotional messages and related media used to communicate with a market.

Marketing communications messaging is delivered through one or more media channels such as digital media, print media, radio, television, direct mail, and personal selling.

backgrounder sheet (or fact sheet) is a brief review of an organization’s history, mission, financial support, or other information provided to the media with other publicity materials in order to supply basic information that may be used in a news story.

copywriter is a person who helps create marketing ideas and messages and then writes the words (copy) for that marketing communication.
