Definition
The Telephone Disclosure and Dispute Resolution Act of 1992 is an act authorizing the Federal Trade Commission to provide rules to prohibit unfair and deceptive acts and practices (including advertising, operation, billing, and collection) in connection with pay-per-call or “900 number” services.[1]
