Cable Television

Definition

Cable television is a method of distributing television signals by means of coaxial or fiber-optic cables. Cable subscribers can receive a wide variety of cable television channels, and some cable systems enable subscribers to both receive and send information by means of the cable connection between the cable system office and individual households. Cable television services may also include telephone and internet connection capabilities.[1]
