Ad with dealer tie-in
A dealer loader is a premium or other reward that is used to encourage a retailer to develop a special display or product offering. Commonly, the item is a reusable product that forms the basis for the display. When the event is over, the retailer is allowed to keep the premium. [2]
A dealer tie-in is a manufacturer-sponsored sales promotion activity, such as a contest, sweepstakes, use of in-store display materials, or sampling, in which retailers actively participate in some way and are mentioned in the manufacturer’s advertising of the sales promotion (which may take the form of cooperative advertising).
Dealer tie-in can also refer to any listing or mention of retailers in a manufacturer’s advertising; including dealer imprint or dealer listing. [1][2]
