Product Commercialization

Definition

Product commercialization is a stage (usually the last) in the development cycle for a new product. Commonly, it is thought to be all the activities involved in introducing the product into the marketplace.[1]

Activities that are involved with commercialization include manufacturing and distribution, as well as promotion.[2]
