Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)

Definition

Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is a collection of statistical models used in order to analyze the differences among group means and their associated procedures (such as “variation” among and between groups).

Factoral design is an experimental ANOVA technique that allows researchers to study the effects of two or more variables simultaneously; each level of each variable or factor is analyzed with each level of every other factor.
