Audience is the number and/or characteristics of the persons or households who are exposed to a particular type of advertising media or media vehicle.
Audience duplication refers to the total number of persons or households exposed more than once to the same media vehicle or to a particular advertising campaign during a specified period of time.
A target audience is a specific group of people that are likely to be interested in your product or service. This group is identified using characteristics like age, gender, income, location, and interests. A target audience helps focus and tailor marketing to a group of highly interested individuals instead of trying to reach everyone.
A target audience is a subset of a target market.
