Publicity

Definition

Publicity is the non-paid-for communication of information about the company or product, generally via some media vehicle.[1]

A junket is a publicity device in which members of the media are brought to a company to observe the product being made, research facilities, etc.

Note: This term is more commonly used to refer to paid casino trips and movie promotions.
