Pull Marketing

Definition

Pull marketing describes marketer efforts and expenditures to influence consumer and customer demand and preference for marketer products. 

Examples are mass media advertising, distribution of coupons through mass media vehicles, and promotions targeted at consumers such as events and public relations efforts. [1]
