Retail stores commonly feature these elements:

An aisle table is a table in a major store aisle, between departments, used to feature special promotional values.

An alteration room is a section, run in conjunction with one or more selling departments, that alters merchandise to customers‘ wishes, especially for men’s and women’s apparel.

workroom refers to a service department such as apparel alterations, drapery manufacture, furniture polishing and repair, or carpet workroom.
